Gardaí in Shannon are investigating a pair of burglaries that took place last week within a 20 minute time span.
The first incident took place at a public house in Drumgeely where suspects attempted to force entry to the front door of the off-licence before subsequently fleeing the scene.

19 minutes later a second burglary occurred in Bunratty. Its understood that two males entered the premises and a few minutes later left the scene in a black Volkswagen Passat.
Gardaí are appealing anyone that may have been in the area in the early hours of Tuesday morning who observed anything unusual or suspicious or has CCTV or dash-cam footage to contact Shannon Garda Station on 061 365900.
