Shannon Estuary Taskforce Chair Says Critical Decisions On Plan Need To Be Made Next Year

The Chair of the Shannon Estuary Economic Taskforce says critical decisions on the region need to be made in the next 12 to 18 months.

It comes after the publication of the group’s interim report, which sets out how the area can play a leading role in the switch to renewable energy and more climate friendly ways of living and doing business.

The document suggests both Shannon Airport and Moneypoint power plant will have critical roles to play in the transition.
