Shannon Councillor Calls For Creation Of Intra-Town Bus Service

A Shannon Councillor is calling for the creation of an intra-town service for the area and its surrounding environs.

It follows the publication of the Limerick/Shannon Metropolitan Area Transport Strategy, which is promising ‘high quality’ bus and cycle infrastructure to be delivered for South East Clare by 2040.

It’s also committed to improving the frequency of services on the Ennis Rail Line, to provide what it claims will be “efficient and effective” commuter services in the long term.
