Shannon residents are reportedly waiting over six months for the council to assess build-ups of mould in social housing estates.
The issue is understood to be particularly prevalent in homes in Cúl Na Gréine and others near the river.

Clare County Council has stated that it does investigate instances of mould whereby heating and ventilation systems are affected.
Shannon Banks Sinn Féin Councillor James Ryan has been speaking with Clare FM’s Lily Collins and says this needs to be expedited.
