Shannon Confirms It Dealt With Seven Diverted Dublin Flights Over Long Weekend

Shannon Airport’s confirmed it accommodated seven diverted flights from Dublin over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Drones were spotted on the airfield in the capital, forcing some planes to divert and grounding others.

Flights from Glasgow, Alicante and Gatwick diverted to Shannon on Friday, with planes from Riga, Porto and Paris landing in the Midwest on Saturday, followed by a sole diverted flight to Shannon from Wroclaw in Poland yesterday.
