A Shannon company has cut the ribbon a new three million euro expansion of their facility.

Modular Automation, which is based in the Smithstown Industrial Estate, has doubled its footprint in Shannon with the investment, which includes a state-of-the-art Innovation Centre and Technology Lab.
The company, which has been in existance for 30 years, delivers technologically advanced turnkey automation solutions.
It employs 110 people and opened a subsidiary in Florida last year.
