Shannon Chamber is encouraging companies in Clare to tap into the talent pool offered by people who have immigrated to the county.
Clare County Council’s integration team identified that between Ukrainian immigrants and people living in IPAS accommodation, there are 6,000 skilled people available for employment.

Last week, a seminar hosted by Shannon Chamber found that many people were volunteering as their first job in Ireland rather than seeking employment in their qualified professions.
Chief Executive, Helen Downes, says if companies recruit from this cohort, it will provide a great economic boost for Clare.
