Shannon Chamber says it's disappointed that the CEO of Shannon Group is to leave his role.
Neil Pakey has announced that he will take up a new challenge when his three-year term in the role comes to an end in June.
Mr. Pakey has been one of the key figures in the early life of the independent Shannon, and has overseen a growth in passenger numbers at the airport as well as other developments such as the establishment of the International Aviation Services Centre.
Shannon Chamber President Kevin Thompstone says Mr. Pakey has re-inforced the connection between the airport and the region, contributed to "many innovative undertakings" and that he has had a track record of delivering for Shannon.
