Shannon-Based Rescue Technician “Honoured” To Be Involved In First All Female Team Taking Part In GRIMP

A Shannon-based rescue technician says she’s honoured to be involved in the first all female team competing in an international skills challenge.

Bríd Casey is taking part in the GRIMP competition, which is an international skills challenge for rescue teams that began in Belguim in the mid 2000s.

This year’s competition is being held in Los Angeles.

Bríd says they won’t know what they’re up against until they get there.
