Shannon Airport has welcomed a new security officer to its ranks.

Kingston the Beagle is responsible for preventing the transport of pests and disease into the United States.
Alongside his partner – Thanuja Hall – the pair form the only pre-clearance facility with an agriculture canine team.
The two are said to be getting to grips with their new role at the Midwest facility.
