Shannon Airport could be the scene for a significant jobs boost after the Chief Executive Officer of Transaero Ireland said the company will be seeking to hire new staff in the near future

Taoiseach Enda Kenny is in Shannon this lunchtime to formally confirm that Russia’s second largest airline is taking over Air Atlanta Aero Engineering at Shannon, consolidating the positions of it’s 241 staff.
It’s also hoped that more workers will be hired in the coming months and years, while over a dozen trainees are currently being sought by the firm.
