Shannon Airport Hopeful Of Passenger Growth Of Up To 5% This Year

The Managing Director of Shannon Airport is hopeful that they will be looking at up to 5% growth in passenger numbers this year, following a difficult 2019.

New routes to European destinations including Paris, Barcelona and Vienna are taking off this year, which is helping to offset the impact of the grounding of the Boeing 737 Max fleet.

Despite the decline at Shannon, the country’s other airports all saw increases in their passenger figures.
