Shannon Airport Downplays Concerns Over British Dominance In Market

The Managing Director of Shannon Airport is downplaying concerns that they are overly reliant on the British market.

Figures compiled by the CSO show that of the 1.6 million passengers that passed through Shannon last year, around 600,000 were UK-bound.

However, the overall number of passengers is at an eight-year high, which Shannon Airport management says is extremely welcome news.
