Shannon Airport has created yet more history.
The airport has been chosen as the winner of the Airport of the Year Award by the European Region's Airline Association.

Shannon also won the award last year, and this is the first time that any airport has retained the honour.
Meanwhile, ASL Airlines Ireland, which has a hub in Shannon, was named as the winner of the Airline of the Year Gold Award
