Several motorists have been penalised for illegal parking following a Garda operation in Ennis.
At least eight vehicles were caught obstructing footpaths, while parked across double yellow lines in the Park Avenue Housing Estate on Clonroad Beg.

Each motorist was issued with a fixed charge notice, which will incur a minimum fine of €60.
