Seven people have been taken to hospital as a precaution after an incident at a Midwest university.
Technological University of the Shannon Moylish Campus’s main building was evacuated at 11am today following complaints of a possible irritant in the air.
Members of Limerick Fire Service attended the scene and no irritant was identified.
Following advice from the Fire Service, the building was reopened at 2:30pm and seven people, including staff and students, were taken to University Hospital Limerick as a precaution.
TUS has confirmed it’s investigating the cause of the incident.
