Seven Flights Diverted To Shannon Overnight On Account Of Bad Weather

Seven flights were diverted to Shannon last evening on account of bad weather conditions at Cork and Dublin Airports.

Cityjet flight WX-319 from London was diverted to Shannon shortly after 7 o'clock, Aer Lingus EI-3833 from Glasgow was the second to be diverted from Cork a short time later.

Aer Lingus flight EI-723 from Heathrow was diverted with the return flight to London cancelled.

Four Ryanair flights unable to land at Dublin because of high winds were also diverted to Shannon.
