Shannon Airport is on course to welcome over 2 million passengers this year.
New figures show passenger figures for the first six months of 2024 at the Clare base are 8% above this time last year.

In total, Shannon welcomed over 974,000 flyers between January and June.
The airport has been boosted this year by the resumption of Delta’s daily service to New York-JFK and increased frequencies to nine of its European and UK destinations.
