A series of public consultation events on the development strategy for the county has been announced.
The Draft Clare County Development Plan is on public display throughout the County and sets out an overall strategy for job creation, innovation and economic growth, and balanced development in our towns, villages and rural areas.

Events will take place in Kilrush, Miltown Malbay, Scarriff, Ballyvaughan, Sixmilebridge and Ennis this month ahead of the closing date for submissions on February 29th.
While, planning officials also will be visiting schools throughout the county to seek the views of children during the coming weeks.
