The four sergeants who walked out on the Garda Commissioner and Minister for Justice during this week’s AGSI conference will not face disciplinary action.

The delegates, from Carlow and Kilkenny, took part in a six hour meeting with senior Garda management in Templemore yesterday.
Afterwards, they released a statement saying they didn’t mean to offend the Commissioner and had full confidence in him.
John Redmond, General Secretary of the AGSI, says none of this would have happened if they were given a voice at the Croke Park talks table.
