Senior citizens are to protest outside the Dáil today against cuts in the budget.

The Irish Senior Citizens Parliament says older people are concerned about the reduction in the Over 70’s medical card limit and the ending of the Bereavement Grant and the telephone allowance.
The group says it’s actively campaigning to seek Government to reverse the austerity decisions made in last week’s Budget.
