The Secretary of the Diocese of Killaloe says he'd prefer the appointment of a new Bishop in the near future.

Fr. Ger Nash, who has been appointed to the role of Director of Pastoral Development within the Diocese, has been speaking as the wait for a successor to Bishop Kieran O'Reilly continues.
It's nearly 18 months since he took the role of Archbishop of Cashel and Emly, and Fr. Nash hopes a replacement will be appointed soon.
