The search for a missing fisherman off the Clare coast has been stood down.

It's understood the 46-year-old man fell from a Spanish Fishing trawler, 330 kilometres west of Clare, around 4.30pm on Monday.
A search operation was launched by the Irish Coast Guard, involving the Shannon-based rescue helicopter, but rescue 115 was forced to abandon the search on Monday due to adverse weather conditions.
An Air Corps CASA maritime patrol aircraft continued searches of the area for several hours yesterday but the operation was stood down after no trace of the missing man was found.
