The search for a Belfast man reported missing in Clare has been called off.
It follows the discovery of the body of a man on a beach near Salthill in Galway yesterday evening.
The 22-year-old man, was reported missing after failing to return to a tour bus he'd been travelling on between Lisdoonvarna and Fanore on Monday.
The body of a man, believed to be in his twenties, was recovered from a beach near Salthill around 7 o'clock yesterday evening and transferred to University Hospital Galway for a post mortem examination.
Searches involving Gardaí, the Coast Guard and civil defence, which have been ongoing in Clare over the past number of days have now been stood down.
