Gardaí have advised the public not to approach Jack, but to contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 68 48 100 or the emergency numbers 999 or 112.

Meanwhile, there’s conflicting reports from Gardai in Dublin over weather the lockdown of a major shopping centre yesterday was linked with the case of the missing teenager.

The Blanchardstown Centre was on a lockdown for nearly 4 hours yesterday and members of the Emergency Response Unit carried out a series of searches at the centre, before standing down without a result.
