Students at LIT are hoping to break a world record in memory of former Munster Rugby player and coach, Anthony Foley.

‘Scrum for Axel’ is hoping to break the world record for the most amount of people taking part in a rugby scrum, which has been previously set in Japan by approximately 1560 people.

Supported by the Foley family, organisers are hoping for three thousand participants and any funds raised will be donated to the Midwest Cancer Foundation.
