Nigella Lawson’s husband has dismissed photos of his hands around her neck as a ‘a playful tiff’.

The pictures – originally published in the Sunday People newspaper – appear to show the TV chef and her husband Charles Saatchi involved in a row outside a London restaurant.
Nigella who was visibly upset in the images is reported to have left the couple’s home.
Charles Saatchi has told the London Evening Standard that during an ‘intense debate about the children’, he held Nigella’s neck repeatedly but there was no grip involved, describing it as ‘a playful tiff’
Britain’s Met Police are carrying out preliminary inquiries.
