Santa Granted Clearance To Enter Clare Airspace

Santa has been granted clearance to enter Clare airspace ahead of his voyage around the world tonight.

Shannon Airport says it’s been working with its colleagues in AirNav Ireland to ensure a safe flight path for the big man as he delivers presents to homes across the Banner county.

Foreign Affairs Minister Micheál Martin meanwhile has confirmed he’s spoken to Mr Claus who’s reported that Ireland’s boys and girls have been “especially good” this year.

Shannon Airport Director Niall Kearns predicts a safe and smooth journey through Clare for Santa and his reindeer in the coming hours.
