The Samaritans will be attending the Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival to support those feeling alone in the crowd.
Europe’s biggest singles festival will run in the North Clare spa town for the entire month attracting up to 40,000 hopeful singletons.

Last year, volunteers from the helpline team supported 95 people over the weekend with some people expressing feelings about suicide.
Publicity Officer for Samaritan’s Festival Branch, Marie Gordon, says even in busy, happy crowds, people can still feel lonely.
