Sale Of Government Stake In Aer Lingus “Massively Disappointing”

One Sinn Fein TD says the sale of the Government's remaining stake in Aer Lingus is 'massively disappointing'.

Yesterday the Dáil voted to approve the sale of the coalition's remaining 25.1% stake in the airline to I-A-G.

TDs voted 74 to 51 in favour of the sale in a deal worth 335 million euro to the taxpayer.

Clare TD Michael McNamara voted against the coalition and is being expelled from the Parliamentary Labour Party as a result. 

However, Sinn Féin's Dessie Ellis says he's disappointed and he requested a second vote yesterday so that the names of everybody who voted could be recorded.
