Ryanair is expected to announce a significant increase of its services from Shannon Airport today.

Deputy Chief Executive Michael Cawley will be joined by airport officials for a press event at Shannon later this morning, just over a week after the government announced the abolition of the three euro travel tax.
Ryanair said this would see them bring an additional one million passengers through Irish airports from next year, and local representatives have suggested that around 300,000 of these will use Clare’s international airport.
