Hopes are high of a further boost for Shannon Airport today, as Ryanair announces its winter schedule for the Airport.

Already this year, the airline has begun flights on nine new routes to destinations in France, Germany, Poland, Spain and Portugal.
These have been a big factor in a significant growth in passenger numbers since April, and mark the biggest growth at Shannon in nearly a decade.
Members of the Shannon Airport Executive will join Ryanair’s Chief Commercial Officer David O’Brien at a press event in Limerick where details of the carrier's plans will be unveiled.
