Ryanair says there was no impact on the customers on board either plane and that it is working with the Irish Aviation Authority to allow normal operations at the airport to resume.

There were reports of delays earlier this morning as a result of the incident, though a spokesperson for the Dublin Airport Authority says the airport is "fully operational".

The Air Accident Investigation Unit is expected to be notified as standard procedure after such an incident.
