Ryanair say they’re ‘looking at opportunities’ on new summer routes at Shannon Airport next year.

The airline is celebrating its 35th anniversary in Shannon, with the airline’s traffic from the Midwest now understood to be above pre-pandemic levels.

22 new routes from Ryanair have operated out of Shannon so far this summer, including new routes of Malta and Corfu, in what’s the airline’s largest summer schedule ever out of the airport.

The airline’s Head of Communications, Jade Kirwan, says it’s very possible the portfolio could be expanded even further in 2023.
