A major jobs announcement is expected to be made at Shannon Airport today.
Enterprise Minister Peter Burke will be at the Clare base this afternoon where it’s understood Ryanair will announce a significant investment in the airport.

The announcement is also expected to include a large number of jobs to be stationed at Shannon.
Speaking in the Dáil last month, Minister Burke said he hoped there would be a “very significant announcement during the summer by a leading Irish-born company in relation to Shannon”.
