One of Clare’s newest councillors insists a second A&E can’t come soon enough for the MidWest.
Shannon Banks native James Ryan has not only been ratified to occupy the council seat vacated by Sinn Féin Deputy Donna McGettigan, but will also fulfil her position on the HSE’s Regional Health Forum West.

The preliminary findings of a HIQA review to determine if this region needs another Emergency Department, meanwhile,are due between January and February of next year.
