As thousands prepare to search for love at the Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival this September, one man has taken matters into his own hands.
A retired bachelor has pinned a letter to the noticeboard of the post office in Lisdoonvarna with a description of his ideal woman.
He says he’s not looking for a wife, but rather someone he can spend time and travel with.
