Gardaí remain at the scene of a serious road traffic collision in East Clare this afternoon.
The incident, understood to have involved a pedal cyclist and a tractor, occurred at around 12.30pm on a country road off the main R352 Ennis to Tulla road near Caherlohan.

National Ambulance Service paramedics, Gardaí and units of Clare County Fire and Rescue Service from Ennis station all responded to the scene.
The HSE’s Cork-based Emergency Aeromedical Service (EAS) air ambulance was also dispatched to the incident and landed close to the scene.
Gardaí are investigating the circumstances of the incident and remain at the scene this evening.
