Shock As Two Killed In Parteen Crash

Two people have died in a road traffic accident in South-East Clare last night.

The single-vehicle collision occurred at around midnight in the townsland of Whitehall in Parteen, close to Limerick City.

The car crashed into a wall before becoming engulfed in fire and destroyed by the flames.

Two other men remain in hospital with serious injuries.

The fire and ambulance services attended the scene, along with Gardaí who are continuing their investigations.
