Nearly Half Of Summonses Not Served For Speeding Clare Motorists

A leading campaigner has questioned the commitment of authorities to enforce road traffic laws.

It follows reports that nearly half of all summonses for Clare motorists to appear in court for speeding offences have not been served.

The Irish Independent reports that since the start of 2017, over 1200 summonses have not been served, and that this is broadly in line with the national picture.
