Clare Gardaí are urging Bank Holiday revellers to park their car, lock it and leave it.
Their safety campaign is well underway, with particular focus on drink and drug driving as well as seat belt wearing and speed limits.
Tonight is expected to be the busiest of the weekend and Gardaí say the safest thing to do for those planning on consuming alcohol later is to organise transport and not to drive.
