Formal Identification Underway On Two Killed In Clare Crash

A formal identification process is currently underway on the two people who lost their lives in a crash in South East Clare. 

The pair were killed in a single vehicle collision in Parteen in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The car hit a wall and was engulfed in flames.

Post mortem examinations were completed this afternoon.

A 12 year old boy seriously injured in the collision is being treated at St. James’ Hospital in Dublin, while a 20 year old man also injured in the collision is being treated at University Hospital Limerick.

Investigations are continuing.
