There were long tailbacks on part of the M18 motorway this morning.
It’s after a two-car crash which occurred on the Southbound section of the route near to the Newmarket on Fergus junction soon after 8 o’clock.
While the road was not closed, there were long tailbacks as traffic was reduced to one lane for a time, and diversions were put in place.

The road re-opened fully before 11 o’clock and there are no reports of any serious injuries.
