Gardaí will be out in force in marked and unmarked cars on local roads in Clare this Bank Holiday weekend as part of their road safety operation.
Its part of efforts to crack down on road traffic offences such as speeding, drink driving, using your phone while driving or travelling in a car without your safety belt on.
90 people have been killed on the country’s roads so far this year, 7 more than by this time last year and Gardaí are urging all road users to play their part in preventing this figure from rising any higher.
