Motorists are being advised of traffic delays on the main route to Shannon Airport.
It follows a two-car crash on the N19 at the Shannon Town roadabout at around twenty past seven this morning.
Emergency services including Clare County Fire and Rescue Service, Gardaí and Ambulance remain at the scene.
