The main road from Ennis to Kilmaley has reopened following an earlier closure.

A fallen tree had forced Clare County Council to temporarily shut the R474 this afternoon.
The tree and associated debris have now been cleared by emergency crews.
The road has now fully reopened to motorists.

Local traffic diversions are currently in place.
