Clifden RNLI in county Galway has rescued four fish farmers after they got into difficulty in extreme weather conditions this afternoon.

The Irish Coast Guard helicopter from Sligo was also tasked, along with Clifden lifeboat.
Three of the fish farmers were on a 16 foot boat, while the fourth was on a large fish cage.
The lifeboat took the four men aboard and returned safely to shore.
