Riverdance Line Breaks World Record

Ireland has broken the Guinness World Record for the longest ever Riverdance Line.

Almost seventeen hundred people from forty four countries took part in the record-breaking dance along the banks of the Liffey in Dublin this afternoon.

They were led by Jean Butler and around a hundred dancers from the current Riverdance troupe.

The previous record of 652 people dancing in a continuous line was held by Nashville, Tennessee.
