Rise In Dole Queues In North Clare

The end of the touisim season is being citied as the cause for a rise in the live register figures in North Clare.

October saw an extra 53 people join the dole queues in North Clare, the only part of the county in which such a rise was recorded.

Overall, 36 less people are on the county’s dole queues and Clare’s dole queues are at their shortest levels in nearly five years.

Despite their latest setback, Ennistymon Fianna Fail Councillor Richard Nagle says he is hopeful of more positivity in the years ahead.
