It’s claimed a significant jump in the number of British-based buyers of Irish houses is good news for rural Clare, despite putting pressure on the national market.
A report by the Real Estate Alliance shows a 10% jump in the number of UK buyers in the past year, with almost half of estate agents nationwide seeing an increase in such enquiries.
The survey also showed that almost one in five property transactions from the UK was directly caused as a result of Brexit.
